Fourth of July 08

We actually went somewhere this year during the Fourth of July weekend. It helps that it fell on a Friday this year, making it long weekend with no additional time off from work. For those of you who knows Chris, you know that he rarely ever takes days off. (Although we are taking a vacation later on this month, but more on that later.) We didn't actually planned to go somewhere. It's more like our friend offered us to stay with him because he got a 3 bedroom suite at Squaw Valley at no charge. Oh, he also wanted Chris to join him, his girlfriend, and her friend on a bike ride around Lake Tahoe.
We drove up on Fourth of July and Chris went on his ride with them the next day. Miss T and I just hang out at the suite and the complex the whole time they were gone. She hated being in the car seat so much from the trip up that I really didn't want to get her in the car again. She had a good time just walking around anyways. That girl loved walking on grass and rocks so much that you would've thought we lock her inside all the time.
Overall, we had a great time and thankful we get a chance to stay at such a nice place for free. I'm pretty proud of Chris finishing that long ride. (Almost 92 miles in 6.5 hours!) We were talking about maybe we should forget this moving to a house thing and just get a small condo up there! Okay, maybe not really going to happen unless we win the lotto or something.
