Books read in 2012

It's the start of a new year and time to restart my book lists for 2013. Here's a recap of all the ones I've read in 2012 (I think I might have missed a few...) I wish I have time to read a bit more (as always). If I have to pick my favorite last year, it would probably be One Day. I also got started on the whole "In Death" series by J. D. Robb (aka Nora Robert) that I'm totally hooked on but taking my time with. There were a lot of trashy romance in there as well (thanks to public library for offering them on ebooks). I think I will attempt to read better books this year, but it's totally relaxing to read something trashy and just fun without thinking about it too much.

  • Rapture in Death - J.D. Robb
  • Immortal in Death - J.D. Robb
  • Frozen Heat - Richard Castle
  • Major Pettigrew's Last Stand - Helen Simonson
  • Simply Sensual - Carly Philips
  • Glory in Death - J.D. Robb
  • A Week in the Snow - Gwen Masters
  • Ruhlman's Twenty: The Ideas and Techniques that Will Make You a Better Cook - Michael Ruhlman
  • That's Amore!: Meet the Parents\I Do, Don't I?\There Goes the Groom - Leslie Kelly, Tori Carrington, Janelle Denison
  • Anything for You - Sarah Mayberry
  • Naked in Death - J.D. Robb
  • Heat Rises (Nikki Heat) - Richard Castle
  • Weekend with Mr. Darcy - Victoria Connelly
  • Lunch in Paris: A Love Story, with Recipes - Elizabeth Bard
  • Freakonomics - Steven D Levitt & Stephen J Dubner
  • All Over You - Sarah Mayberry
  • The Laughing Corpse (Annita Blake, Vampire Hunter 2) - Laurell K. Hamilton
  • Shakespeare's Landlord (Lily Bard Mysteries, Book 1) - Charlaine Harris
  • Guilty Pleasures (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter 1) - Laurell K. Hamilton
  • The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake A Novel - Aimee Bender
  • Happy Ever After - Nora Roberts
  • Savor the Moment - Nora Roberts
  • One Day - David Nicholls
  • The Mysterious Benedict Society - Trenton Lee Stewart
2013 is off to a good start with two books finished already. I guess I do need to take vacations more often.
